The Lewis family has worked the water around Topsail Island and Sneads Ferry for more than forty years, building and running shrimp boats and bringing the catch ashore. Today Mike and Celeste keep that going on Carolina Boulevard.
One side is the market, where you buy the day's seafood fresh by the pound to take home. The other is the shack, where we cook it to order over the window: Baja-style tacos, baskets, bowls, and platters. Same fish, two ways.
